When I think of Red, White, and Blue; instantly I think of America! The land of great opportunities. Which is held to high standards of freedom, the pursuit of happiness and justice for all. I think of my home! The USA is a big melting pot of people from all walks of life that deserves to smell amazing. And with Smells of freedom they shall. It is hard to put freedom, or justice or even the USA into a smell but when I made my post ‘Chasing the American Dream’, which in fact will be called Smells of Freedom – I made it with the goal of love and a subtle scent that has a powerful presence if that makes much sense.

Chasing the American, Smells of Freedom soap consists of many beneficial properties to help rejuvenate your skin, act as the first layer of defense for your skin care regimen and its simple as 1,2,3. First purchase the soap, second loath your brand new soap all over your skin, head to toe but careful with the eyes then rinse off and third but not least store the bar of soap into a soap dish away from puddles of water in order to have a long-lasting soap.

Listed of Ingredients;

1- Coconut Oil – “Super Food”; contains anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties which add a deep-cleansing but creamy lather. To much coconut oil can dry out your skin so the perfect ratio is needed.

2- Palm Oi – has vitamins A, C, and E, with antioxidant properties that help remove oil from the skin and protect pores from dirt and infection including ache.

3- Castor Oil – Has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It helps reduce inflammation and relieves pain as well as keep your skin moisturized.

4- Grapeseed Oil – Has large numbers of vitamin E, which is a fat-soluble antioxidant, that helps protect your cells from damaging free radicals and antioxidants that helps treat acne as well as act as a moisturizer.

5- Sweet Almond Oil – Has vitamin E, A, and monosaturated fatty acids, protein, potassium, and zinc that once again, help your skin retain moisture and can heal chapped and irritated skin.

6- Distilled water – Is water that has been boiled into vapor and condensed back into liquid in a separate container.

7- Lye (Sodium Hydroxide) – Is a very dangerous ingredient to work with however when working with it, you should only do so while in safely gears i.e. gloves, protective eyewear, and a mask. It is a white solid ionic compound consisting of sodium cations Na⁺ and hydroxide anions OH.

8- Frankincense Essential Oil – Helps to alleviate stress and relieve pain. Research states it can help dry skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, scars, and stretch marks.

9- Patchouli Essential Oil – Helps treat skin and hair problems; such as eczema, acne, dry chapped skin, dandruff, and oily scalp. It also has wound healing and scar reducing properties which makes it a great essential oil.

10- Cherry, Silver & Pearl, Blue Pearl Dry [Mica powder] – are all natural stone minerals with shiny flakes that when crushed turns into a powder that can be used for cosmetic reasons or in lovely soaps.
