- Preheat oven to 375 or (broiler) or (grill) on medium-high heat. I choose to use the Oven at 375 degrees!
- Season your chops with the 1 teaspoon of salt, black pepper and garlic powder just before cooking.
- In a nonstick pan or skillet heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil on medium-high heat until hot. Sear chops on both sides until golden and cooked through (about 4 minutes each side).
- Once your chops are golden on each side, transfer to a plate and set them aside.
- Time to make your sauce! But first, reduce heat to low. Add the 1 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, maple syrup, water, and vinegar. Increase heat to medium and continue to cook until the sauce reduces down and thickens slightly (about 3-4 minutes). Stirring occasionally.
- Transfer your sauce and cooked chops to a baking pan.
- Put in the oven and let bake for 10 minutes then take out flip and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Now your chops are done! Unless you'll like more color then I suggest to turn your broiler on and let bake for another 5 minutes (roughly 2.5 minutes each side, so flip em to give color).
